Erased from Chapter XV of Nerves and Common Sense (1925) by Annie Payson Call
Posted by birds fly on November 26, 2012
Being a quiet person, I have often been drawn to talkers. My psychologist was a talker. This, though, is hilarious.
Glad you enjoyed it! The tongue was definitely in the cheek for this one. Obviously I am not against all talking. Like you, I used to gravitate toward talkers although that has changed over the years. I find that in general quiet people have more interesting things to say, probably because they are more selective in their conversation. I also think they tend to be better listeners on the whole.
